Narrative- There are many kinds of Music in a motion picture but Narrative music is the most fun. Narrative music simply means "music which tells a story".
Performance- singing by changing back and forth between the chest voice and a falsetto. Type of: performance. the act of presenting a play or a piece of music or other entertainment. performing arts. arts or skills that require public performance.
Concept- Modern critics disagree as to the exact definition of the concept musical. It is generally agreed upon that in a concept musical, emphasis is placed upon style, message, and thematic metaphor rather than on the plot itself. Thus, the show's structure is rarely cohesive or linear.Has no link to the artist or the music video.+-
Narrative illustration- music video narrative theory - Illustration Illustration is the simplest and easiest concept to base a music video around as it is just a literal meaning to the song's lyrics in visual form. For this reason, amplification videos often have elements of performance or illustrative elements in them.
Narrative amplification- Amplification is second.The conventions demonstrated by the music video creative director.They may use both performance and narrative ,connotations of the meaning. An example of this is kanye west's homecoming where it does clearly show his home but the audience can work out that the song is homecoming and it is him walking around city that he knows.
